The Japanese dragon is a serpent often mentioned in Japanese mythology and folklore. Its appearance resembles a chimera, typically featuring a camel-like head, a serpent's body, an iguana's neck, deer-like horns, rabbit-like eyes, bull-like ears, carp-like scales, tiger's paws, and eagle's talons. Japanese dragons often have only three talons, while Chinese dragons are depicted with four or five.
